Johannesburg – On Thursday Zozibini Tunzi made an appearance in parliament as a special guest of President Cyril Ramaphosa during the 2020 State of the Nation Address

The beauty queen, who is currently on her Miss Universe homecoming tour, was recognised by the president during proceedings, and later shared a special moment with Ramaphosa and the Deputy President David Mabuza while taking pictures.

Springboks captain Siya Kolisi also joined zozi.

In the clip, President Ramaphosa takes pictures of Zozibini and Siya on a cell phone, adding that he is “delighted” that they were able to attend.

Later, the president joins the pair for another photo, saying: “Zozi we were watching you. At 3 am, we watched you. We watched you as you were crowned.”

“But I didn’t only watch Siya, I was there when he lifted the cup,” Ramaphosa jokes, adding: “We are so proud.”

Zozibini wraps up her homecoming tour on Friday 14 February with her parade in Cape Town
